Where to start?  A phone call is usually best. I'll ask you tons of questions and you'll ask me lots more to determine if we are a good fit for each other.

There is no better way to get to know your potential photographer than to talk to them and meet them.

We realize we do things very differently than most people in our industry. You deserve to know what you are getting for your money and how we intend to create something very special for you.

This part would most likely be done in the studio.  Together we discuss everything! 

- Priorities for the session (entire family, kids alone, couples).

- Where will the portraits be displayed?  In the family room, front hall or beach house.

- Location for the session. What scene will look best as a background for your display.

- Attire.  Casual, super casual, formal.  Getting on the same page is vital.

- Favorite products in the studio. Do you prefer float frames, canvases or matted art.

-Book a session date and time.

This part is all fun.  Now that we have a plan, I can help y'all relax and enjoy some family time. 

 Leave it in my hands to create the right expressions and poses that will look great and will fit perfectly to the plan we laid out in our meeting.

 You can tell be the grey hair, that I've been at this a long time. Please let me do all the worrying, so you look your best and you feel unstressed. 

Decisions are made here. All of them!

With our help to guide you, the selection process if really fun. We have the best technology in our screening room to keep track of the favorites. We show them to you right as they will be on your virtual wall at home. Be sure to bring everyone you would like to help, and leave the others at home, if you know what I mean.

Here we finalize the things we planned for way back in step one. We will make final size adjustments, talk about retouching and then place the order. 

It's just that simple! 

This part is all us behind the magic curtain.  We obsess over every image and use our experience to make your portraits look like they were totally natural, even though there may be hours of retouching done to them. My style and recipe for making images that you will love is because I am a husband, dad and granddad. I really do understand what families like. It's the reason I've been at this for so long!  Trust me.

The super exciting day is here. Just so you know we get all excited too!  We can't wait to show you the final results. For all our local clients, we arrange an install day so I can hang your portraits at just the right height and level too.  It's a very gratifying part of the process for me.
